Welcome to the official website of the Oxford Türkiye Alumni Society ("we", "our", "the Society"). This website is provided for the purpose of fostering engagement, communication, and community among alumni of the University of Oxford who are based in, connected to, or interested in Türkiye.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the site.
 

1. Official Status

The Oxford Türkiye Alumni Society is the official alumni society of the University of Oxford in Türkiye, formally recognised and endorsed by the University’s Alumni Office. As such, all policies, guidelines, and terms of the University of Oxford Alumni Office apply in conjunction with the terms set out below. Where there is overlap, the terms of the University of Oxford shall prevail.


2. Purpose of the Website

This website serves to inform, connect, and engage Oxford alumni based in Türkiye, as well as those with academic, professional, cultural, or personal connections to the country. It provides updates on events, initiatives, alumni news, and opportunities to contribute to and take part in the Society’s activities.

 

3. Use of the Website

You agree to use this site solely for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with the objectives of the Society. You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful purpose;

  • Impersonate any person or entity, including Oxford University or other alumni;

  • Upload or transmit content that is defamatory, offensive, or infringes intellectual property rights;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to restricted areas of the site or disrupt its operation.


4. Registration and Personal Data

When registering your details or submitting information via this website, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current data.

All personal data collected will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the University of Oxford’s data protection policies, and Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law. By submitting your personal information, you consent to its use for alumni engagement and communications related to the activities of the Oxford Türkiye Alumni Society.
